ADA Compliance Requirements

How many ADA units do you need? The general rule is at least 5% of your total portable restrooms should be ADA accessible, with a minimum of one unit.

  • • 1-20 total units: 1 ADA unit required
  • • 21-40 total units: 2 ADA units required
  • • 41-60 total units: 3 ADA units required
  • • 61+ total units: 5% of total should be ADA accessible
